RE: Notice of Road Committee Meeting


A meeting of the Road Committee has been called for the morning of Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Conference Room at the Police Jury Complex located at 507 West Main Street in Homer, LA.


The agenda is as follows –


1. Proposed list of additional public meeting places and dates for discussion and presentation of informational materials for the upcoming sales tax elections.


2. Discussion on proposed installation of culverts across Blackmon’s Treasure Island Road in cooperation with the CPWSD


3. Update on the purchase of the new skid steer.


4. Update on the chip sealing program.


5. Request from the Homer Golf Club concerning security cameras at the maintenance sheds and pro shop.


6. Request from the Homer Golf Club concerning the possible replacement of certain culverts on the golf course.


7. Request concerning the Parish Opioid Suit Funds from Connections Recovery and Ms. Kathryn Thomas.


8. Request from Steven M Gatlin, 2nd JDC Public Defender concerning the Parish Opioid Suit Funds.
9. Any other personnel related issues.


10. Any other financial related issues.


11. Any other Parish building related issues.


12. Any other road, equipment, or other parish related issues
