RE: Notice of Road Committee Meeting


A meeting of the Road Committee has been called for the morning of Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Conference Room at the Police Jury Complex located at 507 West Main Street in Homer, LA.


The agenda is as follows –


1. Update on the demolition of the old CPSO Building – estimated start date September 1st.


2. Update on the vacant positions of Operator II and Truck Driver within the Hwy Department.


3. Request to set a date for a Road Committee Meeting to discuss amending Ordinance #703 (Heavy Haulers Ordinance).


4. Tabled from July 9 Meeting - Request from Colonial Life Ins Representative to meet with the Personnel/Finance Committees for present new products to the Parish Employees.


5. Continued discussion of the Pelican Cove Townhomes Project on Hwy 2.


6. Any other personnel related issues.


7. Any other financial related issues.


8. Any other Parish building related issues.


9. Any other road, equipment, or other parish related issues
