RE: Notice of Road Committee Meeting


A meeting of the Road Committee has been called for the morning of Wednesday, December 5, 2025, at 9:05 a.m. in the Conference Room at the Police Jury Complex located at 507 West Main Street in Homer, LA.


The agenda is as follows –


1. Discussion of additional Public Hearing Date for amending Ordinance #703 (Heavy Haulers Ordinance).


2. Discussion and presentation of cost of equipping all CPPJ Hwy Dept vehicles and equipment with GPS tracking for security purposes.


3. Presentation of the final quote for the purchase of a 2025 CAT 275 Skid-steer with accessories - $214,381.80 (State contract #4400026637) –


4. Consideration of DOTD MOA for the Temporary Right-of-Way Access for Debris Removal per letter dated November 10, 2025.


5. Consideration of Liberty Tree Program from Commissioner Mike Strain, in a letter dated November 7, 2025.


6. Any other personnel related issues.


7. Any other financial related issues.


8. Any other Parish building related issues.


9. Any other road, equipment, or other parish related issues
