RE: Notice of Road Committee Meeting


A meeting of the Road Committee has been called for the morning of Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Conference Room at the Police Jury Complex located at 507 West Main Street in Homer, LA.


The agenda is as follows –


1. Update on Lightning Strike at the Courthouse and progress to date.


2. Proposed list of public meeting places for discussion and presentation of informational materials for the upcoming sales tax elections.


3. Appointment of individual to serve out remaining term of Constable for the 3rd Justice of the Peace Court for Claiborne Parish.


4. Request from Road Superintendents Brant Cupp and Chad Verdin to replace the diagnostic computer at the Parish Road Barn, estimated total cost - $16,000. (Current computer is 2008)


5. Any other personnel related issues.


6. Any other financial related issues.


7. Any other Parish building related issues.


8. Any other road, equipment, or other parish related issues
